Michigan Potbellied Pig Rescue!

Financial Assistance Desperately Needed!

Over 100 potbellied pigs need homes, as the owner has been evicted from her property,  and the animal removal time given by the sheriff’s

department is up!  Originally, we thought there were approximately 70 pigs to be removed, but discovered our count was low!

March 23, 2007, all pigs must be moved over 500 miles from Calumet in Upper Michigan to Buchanan in Lower Michigan.  Jean Wolf will be accepting the pigs, and any financial assistance you are able to give will be greatly appreciated!  Feed, bedding, and vetting (spay/neuter) is going to be costly. Estimated cost is about $30,000.00 which will include transportation, fencing, shelter, spay/neutering and vetting.  Animal transportation to good homes and sanctuaries will also be needed once the animals have been health checked and altered.  For additional information you can contact Jean at:  1-269-695-6550 or wolfsden@qtm.net
